Design/Scanning/Modeling
We'll take whatever you have—an object, a scan, or just an idea—and turn it into a 3D model.
We scan objects with the most advanced scanners available, or often just with a mobile phone.
We create our 3D models in Zbrush, and also use Rhino for certain modeling tasks.
Sourcing Stone Globally
We carve marble, limestone, granite, sandstone, onyx, calcite, and other exotic stones. We source them directly from quarries across the globe.
Robotic Milling
We mill stone with 7-axis CNC robots and 5-axis sawing and milling machines. Our skilled fabricators carefully select every tool path and its parameters.
Saws and large diamond-tipped discs rough out the basic forms of a piece. Then, fine drill bits, some with tips as small as 2mm, mill the details within fractions of a millimeter of the final surface.
Hand Finishing
Our stone carvers finish every piece by hand—sometimes in hours, sometimes over many months.
Our carvers give the piece the tool marks, polished surfaces, fine lines, and sharp undercuts that only the human hand can achieve.
Their tools are both the traditional chisels, rasps, and sandpapers of past centuries, and modern power tools with specialized bits.
Final Mile
After final finishing, our team will oversee delivery and installation anywhere in the world. Our projects find homes in galleries, private collections, museums, and the public sphere.
